Sometime in late 2013 or early 2014, the original developers of the Arras WordPress theme called it quits. Long before that, however, the theme languished from neglect.

With the latest WordPress updates (3.8 and 3.9) users began to see things unravel. The former site, www.arrastheme.com announced, “If you are interested in working further on these themes and re-release them, please feel free to do so.”

The upshot is that as of May 1, 2014 I’ve taken up the invitation to resume Arras’s development.

My latest work on the theme is on Github, where you can freely download the theme.

As of this post, this site is running WordPress 3.9 and Arras 1.5.4. (There was an Arras 2.0 under the previous developers, but it’s no longer stable.)
